Producing high-quality data is necessary for progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals initiative to be measured accurately. Flawed statistics can result in misguided decisions. This book explores the substantial challenges for assembling reliable data and statistics to address pressing development challenges, particularly in Africa.
