Generated during the course of the AIAI project, this one was discussed widely during online workshops. The detailed species of Carob tree in the prompt is strategic, instructing the model to include a tree that carries cultural and personal significance, while also testing the limits of Midjourney 5.1 to generate indigenous-themed images. At the time of the workshop, the result was considered underwhelming and frustrating, but the potential for creative agency was not lost to Mariela, the author of the prompt, who went on work further with other Gen-AI models.
